How to Reach the Venue

Come by train
Vienna has excellent train connections to all major European cities. We recommand your to travel this way to limit your carbon footprint. From the train stations you can easily reach the conference by public transport: 
  • Vienna Central Station (subway line U1 - in 20 minutes without changing), 
  • West Station (subway line U3 and U6) 
  • Praterstern (subway line U1).

Come by plane
Vienna International Airport or Airport Wien-Schwechat is located at 18 km (11 mi) southeast of central Vienna.

You can choose between the following transfer options when travelling from the airport: 
  • The non-stop City Airport Train (CAT) service will take you to the centre of Vienna in 16 minutes, and it only takes 30 minutes on the standard rail service. One way ticket: 14,90 EUR.
  • The airport express bus takes around 30 minutes to reach the Austria Center Vienna. 
  • You can also reach the conference venue by taxi in 25 minutes. We recommend that you always take an official taxi  directly in front of the arrivals hall or the "City Transfer" counters in the arrivals hall. Do not use unlicensed taxis. Average taxi fares: 40-45€ to Vienna city center.

Come by car
Austria has an excellent motorway and road network. To get to the Austria Center Vienna by car, take the A22 motorway and turn off at the Austria Center Vienna/VIC (Vienna International Center) exit. Alternatively, take the Reichsbrücke bridge or approach from Wagramer Strasse. There is ample private on-site parking and 10 electric charging stations.

Come by public transports
Vienna has a comprehensive, fully-integrated public transport network consisting of five underground lines, 28 tram routes and more than 100 bus routes. Waiting times are very short – and as little as just 3-5 minutes at peak times. It takes just seven minutes to reach Stephansplatz from the Austria Center Vienna on the U1.
